Painted Harvest

The stamp set Painted Harvest is a popular set from the Holiday catalog. For the background, I stamped the acorn and the fern using Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks. I used Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape at the bottom of the card. I used Copper Foil Paper to mat the sunflower but first I used the Leaf Punch  (bundled with the Painted Harvest stamp set for a 10% saving) to punch the leaf out of the center of my square. The sunflower is stamped with Daffodil Delight, Cajon Craze and Soft Suede ink. I added the copper leaf as well as two more punched from Vellum cardstock behind the image of the sunflower

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 137 - Penny's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge

Penny is the host for this weeks challenge.

The morning of my husbands birthday as I headed down to my craft room my husband asked what I was planning to do. I told him I was going to make him a birthday card. He said, "Make it an awesome one". So I did!
I used two stamp sets for this card Marquee Messages and Guy Greetings. Cardstock is Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Real Red and Dapper Denim. The ink is Memento Jet Black, Real Red, Dapper Denim and Crushed Curry.

I colored Rhinestone Gems with a sharpie before adding them as lights on the sign.

Watercooler Wednesday Challenge 136 - Gail's All About Birthdays Challenge

Gail is this weeks challenge host.
This card was so easy everything just fell into place.
Sadly the flower punches used are retired but any small flower punch you own would work. For these flowers, I use the small left over strips of Watercolor Paper that I have after cutting Watercolor Paper for other projects. I can't stand to waste such expensive paper. After wetting the strips of Watercolor Paper I drop ink onto them with an Aqua Painter. After the strips dry I punch as many flowers as I can, each with slightly different colors. I store them in containers to use whenever the mood strikes!

The Cardstock used for this card is Thick Whisper White & Peekaboo Peach. The ink is Berry Burst. I used Garden Trellis Textured Embossing Folder and the Stamp is Happy Birthday Gorgeous.

I made a second one trading the peach for Sweet Sugarplum.
